1) Replaces Microsoft Exchange e-mail and calendar with Exchange online - Hosted in the Microsoft Cloud, accessed via Microsoft Outlook 2016 (desktop, mobile app or online). Also includes the popular Skype for Business (formerly Microsoft Lync) for internal employee chat, web meetings, video meetings, and collaboration. Can also replace Lotus Notes email and Groupwise email with Microsoft Cloud-based Exchange Online.

2) Replaces your network drives with secure cloud-based file storage - Namely the stable, safe and secure Microsoft OneDrive for Business with (1,000 Gigabytes of storage / user and additional storage available).  Its version control and roll-back functions are available out of the box, instantly backing up all of your files and folders in a secure CANADIAN Microsoft datacentre.  Office 365 Enterprise also includes SharePoint Online, opening the door for internal portals, workflow, and document management.

3) Depending on licensing includes perpetual updates of Microsoft Office 2016 on your Desktop and Dedicated Mobile Apps for PC, Mac, tablets and mobile.  If you choose there are licenses that are e-mail only and exclude Office 2016, and thus you can use your current Office 2007, Office 2010, or Office 2013 licenses.  Dynamics 365 CRM for sales can also be included within your bundle at a discounted price.

4) Includes a number of advanced e-mail security, Anti Spam, file security and enterprise control mechanisms to secure, synchronize, manage or remove users while keeping corporate data safe and secure. Don't under estimate the importance of Enterprise Cyber Security and control to mitigate business risks.

Office 365 Enterprise E3 - Canada (Toronto, Halifax, Montréal, Edmonton, Ottawa and London)

– Includes the core functions of Office 365 including the full desktop install of Microsoft Office 2016 desktop (Microsoft Outlook 2016, Word 2016, Excel 2016, PowerPoint 2016, Microsoft Access DB 2016, and Publisher 2016) and MIcrosoft Exchange Online (2016) for e-mail. Office 365 E3 also includes Skype for Business, Yammer and 1TB of OneDrive for Business storage.

Office 365 Enterprise E1 - Canada (Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Edmonton, Ottawa and London)

Same as E3, but does NOT include a full-install of Microsoft Office 2016 Desktop, users with an E1 license can either leverage existing Microsoft office licenses (ie 2007, 2010, 2013) as well as access Microsoft Office Online to open and work with Microsoft Office applications via their browser of choice. E1 users still get full access to Skype for Business, Yammer and 1TB of OneDrive storage.

  • E1 is a common entry point for clients who already own older Microsoft Office licenses (thus don’t yet need the full-install of Office 2016) and want to step into Office 365 for Exchange Online and Outlook 2016 for e-mail and other popular Office 365 collaboration and security benefits (Security, Always-on Access, OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business, Yammer and other applications). Such clients can upgrade on a user by user basis to E3 at any time.

Office 365 Enterprise E5 - Canada (Ontario, Québec, Nova Scotia, Alberta, Atlantic Canada)

Is for power users and includes the core functions of E3, with the addition of advanced phone tools for voice via PBX Cloud and PSTN as well as bundled productivity tools such as Microsoft Power BI Pro, E-discovery and additional advanced security.

Endeavour365 highly recommends the Enterprise version of Office 365 as it provides added flexibility in supporting a mixed hybrid deployment of E1 + E3 + E5 and the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade users as needed. Although SMB plans do not have the same level of flexibility they are a viable option for small business that require 5 to 15 users and no Active Directory integration.
